Take care and respect
The rules for the use of the Park are designed to guarantee the conservation of its natural resources and to allow appropriate use and enjoyment of the Park by all persons.
Please understand that these rules are covered by a LAW, which is the Master Plan for the Use and Management of the Garajonay National Park, approved by Real Decreto 1531/1986, de 30 de mayo (B.O.E. núm. 179, de 28 de julio de 1986).
Walk on the established paths.
Respect the plants and animals.
Follow the directions of the park staff.
Collaborate with the good maintenance of the park, provide suggestions and facilitate the fulfillment of its objectives.
Do not make loud noises or use loud devices. Listen to the sounds of nature and respect its silences. Everyone has the right to enjoy the park.
Do not litter. It is advisable that everyone returns with the trash they generate. In any case, use the bins appropriately to facilitate the selective collection of trash.
Be careful with fire. Do not smoke in the forest or light fires except in the fire pits of the recreational areas equipped for this purpose, when the weather conditions permit.
Camping and bivouac are not permitted.
Bicycles are allowed on paved roads and on most dirt tracks, except those where their prohibition is expressly signposted. They are not allowed on the paths.
In recreational areas and picnic areas, playing soccer and other sports that damage natural grass is prohibited.
